You might be eligible for Guarantee Credit

• If you have reached state pension age

• if your weekly income is less than £218.15 Single person

• if your weekly income is less than £332.95 couple

Even if your income is higher than the above you may still be entitled

• if you’re a carer

• if you have a severe disability

• if you have certain housing costs such as service charge

• you have a child or young person who lives with you

You might get Savings credit

• if you reached pension age before 6.4.2016

This very much depends on savings that you have and usually applies for savers with smaller amounts (less than £10000)

FIRE SAFETY

Kent Fire & Rescue
Offer a free safety check. They will advice you as to any changes you need to make to
improve fire safety in our home. This includes fitting Fire Alarms (FREE)
The criteria to access this is that you are over 70 years of age or have a disability/chronic illness
